I'm Back!

Well finally I have had time to update some of my column. Now where do I begin?!

February
After I returned from Dubai I had a meeting with Ted to see if we could sort things out. As you can imagine it was very difficult having to deal with our relationship being splashed all over the papers, it made our break-up so much harder as everyone knew our business. Maybe if we could have had a chance to be left in peace for a while, things may have turned out differently but we didn’t, so we will never know. I still love Ted and I think I always will but he has moved on and so must I. Who knows what might happen if we are meant to get back together, we will. If not, well is was not meant to be.

March
I was delighted to be asked to make an award at the Fate Awards in Belfast by Michael Bell, Editorial Director of Fate Magazine Ltd. What a weekend that turned out to be. We left London on Friday morning and arrived in time to have our hair and makeup done before the show. I was greeted by a delightful young man called Michael who was my chaperone for the evening. He was so nice and funny - we all had a good laugh. I met Christine Blakeley and Brian Dowling who had just finished having their hair and makeup done and I could not believe how lovely Christine was. She made us feel very welcome and said not to worry about the evening, as she would help me. That night I met all the other celebrities who had been asked to present an award. There was Lisa Scott Lee, James Nesbitt, Radio One’s Colin Murray, Calum Best and Jay Kay. It was such a good evening and Michael and Tim sure know how to throw a party! Just to set the record straight about Calum and I, well there is and was never any Calum and I. I have known Calum for years, we often see each other at the same clubs or events. There were about 14 of us going out to a club on the Saturday evening, which Michael and Tim had organised. As we approached the club there were quite a few people waiting for photos and autographs so, Calum being the gentleman, got hold of my hand and escorted me into the club and that’s it.

I had to do a bit of shopping the next day of course! Well I tried but I could not believe how many people recognised me and ran after me in the shopping mall for my picture and autograph. That was my first experienced of how people would react to me. Until that point I thought I could just walk down the street and do everything I did before, without anyone taking any notice of me but now I realise I can’t. I must say though everyone in Belfast was fantastic and I can’t wait to go back for another knees-up with Michael and Tim!

Danielle Lloyd I had my first Front Cover of OK Magazine and 6 pages inside. I was so proud! The only thing was the day of the shoot was the day Ted and I decided it was over for good. The poor makeup girl struggled to keep my makeup on and stop it running with my tears. The interview was supposed to be about me and Ted getting back together again. Instead it was the first story of Ted and I splitting up for good. Despite my tears the shoot was fab. It was in an amazing house and the crew were brilliant with me.

I was taken to Cyprus to do a shoot with Jeany Savage for the Daily Star and I must say the photos were great especially the ones taken on the beach as Jeany had captured the sunset in the background which gave it an amazing effect.

Danielle Lloyd I then attended the I Want Candy Premiere and I felt like a million dollars in my Eric Way silver dress! Everyone commented on it (wwwstunningbyericway.com) We attended the after show party for an hour, then went onto my friends 18th Birthday party at Funky Buddha - that was a night to remember! That’s where I met Marcus. We have known each other for a long time since he played up north at Everton and he was with Kelly then. We have all been friends for a long time and have mutual friends in Manchester, Liverpool and London - it was good to see him again. Everything was going great until I saw Ted, I knew he had just received an award so I thought, ok I’ll go over to him and congratulate him on his award and see if he is ok! To my surprise he completely blanked me and was quite rude. I don’t know to this day what I had done to deserve that. After all we were together for a year, maybe he was trying to show his mates he was over me? Or maybe it was because he had a blonde hanging off his neck who he was photographed out with a couple of days later? Anyway I decided to have a few drinks and danced the night away with my friends and enjoy myself and I did.

I also attended the premiere of Shooter. Again Eric Way designed me a beautiful red dress and everyone commented on it. It’s funny I get lots of requests from girls all over the country, asking where did I get my dress from or where did I get my top from? I always direct them to the shop I bought them from or Eric’s website. I don’t always dress in designer clothes, I like my own look and most of the time I go to small boutiques or Top Shop and mix and match my clothes. I could be wearing a top which I paid £20 for, with a pair of jeans which cost a couple of hundred and sometimes I can go out in a dress which has cost me £30 but looks like a designer dress. At least that way the younger girls can copy it without it costing them too much but anyone who can afford it can buy the designer clothes and visit Eric’s shop. May I also thank Eric Way and Martyn for all my beautiful dresses and I can’t wait for their ball to raise money for Cancer in June. I have now bought my own company called Designed4Love (DL for Danielle Lloyd of course) I am hoping to have my own range of clothes and jewellery ready for sale from my website www.daniellellloyd.com by August this year so keep your eye’s peeled. It won’t be designer prices I want affordable prices for the younger market who can’t afford the Designer prices just yet.

April
Danielle Lloyd April was a very busy month I went back to Ireland but this time to Dublin to open Touch Nightclub with my friend Laura. Ryan Thomas from Coronation Street was also there but despite what the papers said we definitely did not hit it off together! In fact I have known Tina and Ryan for a couple of years and I was at Ryan’s Birthday Party last year. You know how it is in a club, you can’t hear each other speaking so when you try and shout down someone’s ear of course it looks like you are getting cosy but I can assure you we were definitely not! Laura and I went onto another club and had such a laugh until my agent rang to say I had to come home early! Great when we never got in till 6am and had to be on a flight at 11am.

I had a shoot with Jeany as I had eventually plucked up the courage to have the lump removed from my right breast and also I needed to have a mole removed from the same breast. As I had to have my implants removed to have the lump taken out, I decided to have my implants changed. When I had my implants done in 2005 I had them put on top of the muscle but after time they can change shape and I decided to have my new ones placed under the muscle to give me a better shape. Despite what the papers said again I was a D cup and I went to a DD, not a FF like it was reported.

I met my Surgeon Dr Lawry Iregbulem from Profile Cosmetic Surgery at Harley Street www.profilecosmeticsurgery.co.uk for my consultation and I was booked in the following week for my operation. My mum took me in and stayed with me until I went to theatre. I was a little nervous as I knew it was going to be a bigger job than my first implants, as I was having my lump and mole removed. I also knew that having the implants placed under the muscle was a little more painful than having them on top! Well when I woke up I felt like someone was sitting on my chest, my mum and Laura came into see me but I can’t really remember speaking to them as I was high on painkillers, which was probably a good thing. The next day I was allowed home but I could not do anything for at least two weeks. My mum, Marcus and my friends all came around to look after me and had to drive me everywhere. My right breast which had all the work done, was so swollen and bruised I looked deformed but it soon settled down. Unfortunately when I went back to see Dr Iregbulem, being the perfectionist he is, he was not happy with my left breast and its size. He apologised and said I want to remove the implant and replace it with a slightly bigger one to match the right breast. Despite having to have more major surgery I felt ok. Marcus took me and collected me the next day and he looked after me until I was able to get around on my own. My friends then took over and once I was able to go out, they took me for a nice meal and a few drinks which did me good. Everything has now settled down and I am pleased to say that both the lump and the mole came back benign thank god. I must say a special thanks to Dr Iregbulem and Cheryl who looked after me at Profile Cosmetic Surgery.

Danielle Lloyd I had the pleasure of attending Shilpas Premiere and it was great to meet her again since leaving the CBB house. She was also glad to see me and we hugged or ages. After posing for photographs together, we went inside to watch her film and I thought it was great not what I expected but I really enjoyed it. Shilpa is so lovely and of course, a great actress. It was strange to see her in a movie after being in a house with her for a month. I met her parents and they invited me to join them for a meal after the Premiere but I was not feeling strong enough as I had just had my surgery and felt very tired. Shilpa and her family have invited me over to India this year, so I intend to visit them and meet the people of India, who have sent me so many good luck messages. Again I wore another Eric Way dress which was a long black evening dress with a slit up the side. It was very fitted and I was pleased it looked so good with my new boobs.

My last assignment for April was to have dinner with Jamie Pearce, a singer songwriter who is about to take the country by storm. Jamie and I went to eat at Kicca Restaurant in Draycott Avenue, London. reservation@kiccalondon.com We had a lovely meal and OK Magazine took some photographs for the food feature in OK Magazine. Jamie is a lovely lad who will go a long way and I want to wish him the best of luck for the future.

May
Danielle Lloyd This is the busiest month I have had in a long time. I had a shoot with Jeany for the Star and another one with New Magazine. Then I attended the OK Party with Richard Desmond where I met Jordan, Mr Al Fayed, Cilla Black and many more famous celebrities. It was a great night and I can’t wait for the next one! I went to Portugal for 3 days to shoot for the Daily Star, on my return I had 2 days filming with Television X as I was asked to present the show, which was a little different but good fun. I also had a days shoot with Andy lesauvage to fit in! Then before I had time to sit down, I was off again to Cyprus for a shoot with OK Magazine and First Choice holidays. That was a great shoot, we stayed at the Napa Plaza in Ayia Napa Cyprus. It was very hot but we got some great shots and you will be able to see them this month in OK Magazine.

Well after a few hours sleep I was back in the air again! This time though it is for a holiday in Miami. I will let you know all about it on my return!
