Training, poker and the races

The beginning of the week started off relaxing with both myself and Ted having days off. I have been spending spare time when I can training with a personal trainer called V on the Hypoxi training machine. Cheryl Cole told me about it and V trained her at the gym in South Woodford. Jordan and Peter Andre have just had one delivered, the results are amazing and you can just see the weight fall off even after the first few sessions. It uses pressure and works on your abs and ups your metabolism.

My friend Sarah Harding from the band Girls Aloud and I are trying to work out when we can get another girls holiday, we went to Dubai earlier this year and had a wonderful time. It was the first girls holiday I had ever really had and I cant wait to go again – its just a problem of timing and working our schedules to fit each other as she’s launching a new album next month. We always have a fantastic time but I admit if we go out and its with Sarah I know I probably wont get home before 6am so I only manage it occasionally!

Danielle Lloyd with partner Teddy Sheringham I’ve been playing quite a few online poker tournaments lately as I have been asked to play in some championships so have been practising – this week I managed to win a whopping £8,000 – even Ted couldn’t believe it! Don’t worry I’m not getting hooked but its amazing you can be playing against someone miles away.

Last week I went to the Click premiere, I was invited by one of its stars David Hasselhoff because we have the same PR agent – I loved the film and David was lovely. He was really funny – of course he kept asking me if I was single – its just his sense of humour though. There was such a fuss over him asking Jenny Falkner out on GMTV but he doesn’t meant it. Its crazy because I grew up watching him on Knight Rider and the next thing I’m standing next to him having a chat at his new film premiere! Actually my mum was dead jealous!

I was introduced to a lady called Paris Knight whose 7yr son Keiton Knight is suffering from a rare form of Lukaemia and needs a bone marrow match in the next few weeks. Its great that so many people are helping them raise awareness of this and so many famous people are coming forward to give join the bone marrow register. Anton Ferdinand and Bobby Zamora who both play for Ted’s team, at West Ham joined up last week and encouraged more people to come forward. They had heard about the campaign and asked what they could do to help. Fulham player Zat Knight also lead the campaign and other footballers too I know people criticise football players but this has been a perfect illustration of a time when they stepped forward because they really felt for this family and said they’d help in any way they could. There is a 1 in a 100,000 chance of being able to find a match for Keiton as he is mixed race and has a rare blood type. If you are white there is a 1 in 3 chance of finding a match as there are more people on the register.

I had a really busy weekend in Paris on Saturday, I was flown by Club 328 private jet for a photo shoot and flew back later afternoon – I don’t really like to drink much but I treated myself to a glass of champagne on the flight back – who wouldn’t!

The weekend ended with a trip to Sandown Race course to support Sinitta on Cirque de Celebrity with my PR Max Clifford and another of his clients Simon Cowell and some other friends of ours. We had a great time and Sinitta was fantastic. I sat just next to Ruby Wax and her comments cracked me up all the way through the show!

I also bumped into Simon Jordan who is the Crystal Palace FC Chairman and was there supporting his girlfriend Sophie Anderton. I know him from watching Ted’s son play football as he is signed to Crystal Palace. Ted and I go whenever possible to watch and it’s a great club.

We went out for dinner afterwards to a lovely Chinese restaurant and I managed to refrain from auditioning for Simon (my singing is terrible!) but I got some good tips for my TV projects I’m working on and some great advice from both Max and Simon –both the best in the business. Simon was absolutely charming and nothing like Mr Nasty he is made out to be. I’m hooked to X factor I am sure that Ashley will win - but that I still think he looks like a Gap model!

A date with me was auctioned online by Dating Direct in aid of the charity DebRA- I was delighted it raised £2,150 – though not as much as Chris Tarrant who was apparently worth £5k for a date!
